Security Update: New Visitor Management Procedures

As part of our commitment to school safety, North Babylon High School is introducing a new, more secure check-in process for all guests.

Starting May 11, 2026, we will begin using the W located at the front of the building as our primary visitor checkpoint. Please take a moment to review the specific locations for your next visit:

Entering the Building & Attendance Office Pick-ups

If you are visiting the school for a meeting or picking up a student for an Attendance-related reason (early dismissal, appointments), please report to:

• Location: The W (Front Entrance).

• Requirement: You must provide a Government issued photo ID.

• Visitor Badges: Your ID will be scanned, and you will be issued a temporary badge. This badge must be worn prominently throughout your visit.

Nurse Pick-ups (Illness)

If you are picking up a student who has been seen by the School Nurse, please report to:

• Location: The West entrance (Side of the building).

Item Drop Off for Students

• Any items being dropped off to school for a student, will be dropped off at the W.

Parking

Please be advised that there is a small visitor parking lot with limited parking just outside of the W. Parents picking up their children from the Attendance Office can park in this lot and pick up their children from the entrance at the W. 

Important Reminder

Please ensure that anyone authorized to pick up your child—including emergency contacts—is aware that a photo ID is required for every visit.
