Summer School Information

SUMMER SCHOOL 2025

Dear Parent/Guardian:

This information is for any student that will need summer school (due to course and/or Regents exam failure) this year.
Final report cards will be posted on the parent portal on Friday, June 27, 2025 You may wish to register your child
for up to two summer school courses and/or Regents exam(s) at no cost if your child:
● Did not earn a passing final course grade (65 or higher) in a class
● Did not earn a passing score on a Regents examination

For students to attend summer school for FREE, all eligible students and their parents MUST register for summer
school directly with the student’s school counselor at NBHS. A parent/guardian and student must report to the
Guidance Department on ONE of the following days between the hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM:

First come, first served on: Monday, June 30 & Tuesday, July 1

OR

By appointment on: Wednesday, July 2

You may register directly with Western Suffolk BOCES by reporting directly to Robert Moses Middle

School on ONE of the following days between the hours of 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM:

Monday, July 7th & Tuesday, July 8th

Important information about Summer School:
● Classes begin on July 15th and conclude on August 15th.
● The summer school day consists of 3 Periods. Each period will run for approximately 2 hours, as shown below.
Period 1 7:45am-9:38am Period 2 9:41am-11:34am Period 3 11:39am-1:32pm

● Regents Exams will be held on Monday, August 19th & Tuesday, August 20th

Review Classes will run for 8 days prior to the Regents exam for those who registered separately for them.
Western Suffolk BOCES Regional Summer School will be held at Robert Moses Middle School, 250 Phelps Lane,
North Babylon, NY 11703. You will need to provide transportation to/from summer school.
