Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Rho Omega Zeta Chapter, Long Island, NY, proudly presents the Mate Masie Scholarship, honoring wisdom, knowledge, and prudence. This scholarship supports outstanding high school seniors of African descent who are committed to academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.  

Eligibility Criteria:

 Must be a graduating senior (Class of 2025) from an accredited Long Island high school.  

 Maintain at least an 85% GPA  

 Demonstrate involvement in extracurricular and community activities

 Submit two letters of recommendation

 Show proof of acceptance to a four-year college or university

 Write a 500-word essay on “Why Should I Receive the Mate Masie Scholarship?”
